Linda C. Powell is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland
, has a Masters Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College of Md, and is Nationally Certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. She currently maintains a private practice office in Frederick, Md., where she sees clients with a variety of issues including relationships, shame and abuse, depression, anxiety, grief, and addictions.
Linda was raised in the Palmer Park/Lanham area of suburban Maryland. The oldest of 5 children born to postal worker parents, she learned responsibility early, taking care of her siblings while her parents worked night shift. Linda worked part time during high school and community college before getting married, and was a part time bank teller for 13 years while her 3 kids were in school. She later went back to school and graduated with a Bachelors in Bible from Lakeland College in Lakeland, Florida. She interned at Catholic Charities in Frederick and Epoch Counseling Center in Baltimore while finishing her Masters. Linda has been employed as a staff counselor at Catholic Charities and Comprehensive Counseling Associates in Frederick, Md., Christian Counseling in Columbia, Md., and Lanier Counseling in Buford, Ga.
In addition to her private practice, Linda is currently a staff therapist for New Life Ministries and a variety of Employee Assistance Programs. Her professional memberships include The American Association of Christian Counselors, The American Mental Health Counselors Association, and the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Linda has been married 35 years, has 3 grown children, and is a grandmother of 3 red-haired granddaughters. She is a member of Cedarbrook Community Church in Clarksburg, Md., where she leads women’s support groups. Her hobbies include decorating, reading, physical fitness, group game night, and enjoying her kids and granddaughters

I gave my Life to Christ in 1995. Before I came to the States I was an active member with the Abuja Missionary Society, Weekly Bible Study and Anglican Youth Fellowship.
I worship with St Michael & All Angels Anglican church located at New Hampshire Ave Adelphi MD 20783. I worked as Assistant Youth Leader in 2003 and a member of Social and Cultural Committee. Presently a Sunday School Teacher , Vestry Member, Secretary Mothers Union branch St Michael & All Angels Anglican Church , Chairperson Evangelism Committee, Coordinator of National Day of Prayers and Founder of Volunteer Christian Women Speakers .
7. Rev Josephine Gibson
Is a member of the Saint Judah Spiritual Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. , where she is under the leadership of Pastor Linwood Grant. She was married to the late Deacon Robert Gibson for 29 years, and she has two children and one grandson. She received her degree in biblical studies from Jericho Christian Training College , and attended Maple Springs Baptist Bible College , the Ministers Institute at the Church of the Great Commission and Washington Saturday College at
Howard University in Washington, D.C. She has ministered as far away as Guyana , South Americafor revival, served on the Evangelism Council, Nurture Ministry, Sunday School, Women’s Conferences, Hosted Women’s Retreats, Overseer of Intercessory Prayer Ministries, Founder of “Warriors On the Wall Bible, Prayer, & Outreach Ministry at Church of the Great Commission. Currently at St. Judah she serves as an Associate Minister, Moderator for Women’s Fellowship Ministry, Co-teacher of Adult Bible Study, Oversees Praise and Worship Ministry, and a Radio Host for “True Worshippers Outreach Ministries on 1340 WYCB Radio Station (AM)” on Saturday’s at 5:30 pm every other month. With all that Reverend Gibson strives to do in love for God and the kingdom, her heartbeat is “seeking those that are lost” the down trodden, oppressed, needy, and broken-hearted. Her desire is to pick them up, dust them off, lead them to Christ, build them up, equip them and make them “FISHERS OF MEN”, she realizes that “Only what you do for Christ will last”.
