We want to lift up our voices in Thanksgiving to God this year for his faithfulness and provision to this ministry. Indeed God has been good to me & to many other women through out the course of this year in Special Women Forum held in May 1st,2008 and Women Retreat .

We thank God for his encouragement and love and provisions.

We also Thank God for all the Volunteers he has used to bless this ministry especially our speakers, co-workers, Friends and family. May God richly bless each of you in Jesus Name.

A HAPPY THANKSGIVING IN ADVANCE

It is with great hope that this thanksgiving will bring back lots and lots of memories of what the good Lord has done for us through out our life time and not just from the begining of this year.

Indeed Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the goodness of God in our lives, his Faithfulness, Protection, Provisions, Gift of Life, Good Health and much much more. It is a time, not just  shopping of nice clothes, tasting of new dish, and travelling, but a time for each person to acknowlegde the goodness of God in their lives, by tastifying in the presence of others what the Lord has done for them.

Psalm 149 says

"Praise the Lord

Sing to the Lord a new song,

his praise in the assembly of the saints.

For each Speaker who has volunteer their time to bless women in our ministry, we thank God Almighty for you. And pray that you continue to be rooted and strengthen in the Lord and his work. As you have blessed other women through this ministry, may you also be richly blessed in Jesus Name.

MATTHEW 1:23

The Virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel-which means ,

"God with us".

Sisters,

Meditating on the true reason for Christmas and reading Matthew 1:23  brought it fully back to my mind the true meaning and reason why we should be celebrating Christmas. A child was born to the world, not just any child but Immanuel which means God with US. It is enough reason for us to celebrate Christmas, knowing that long before we were woven in our mother's womb, that God already is with us. That should give us hope and joy for the rest of our life here on earth.

Only question is how many times do  we  as mothers or children of God take time to explain to our children the real meaning of Christmas and not let them run around thinking it is all about seasonal holidays, gifts and Santa.

Sisters, let us make an extra effort this year to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, take advantage of it and draw closer to God ,establish a better relationship and draw our love ones closer to God. Give meaningful gift that will draw people closer to God.

I GIVE GLORY AND HONOR TO ALMIGHTY GOD, FOR GIVING US THE BEST GIFT EVER, HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.
